League leaders Bibiani Gold Stars were beaten 2-0 by Vision FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema. Second-half strikes from Edward Agyeman and Edmond Asante made the difference.

Stephen Amankonah’s strike in the 29th minute sealed a 1-0 win for Berekum Chelsea over Nations FC.

The top two teams on the table lost, helping Asante Kotoko to reduce the points gap after recording a 1-0 win over Aduana Stars in Abdul Karim-Zito’s debut for the Porcupine Warriors. Kwame Poku scored the only goal in the 25th minute. Aduana Stars missed a penalty in the 38th minute.

The Porcupine Warriors are just 6 points behind the league leader, Bibiani Gold Stars, with five games to end the season, although Gold Stars have just four games left.

Dreams FC won 2-1 at Karela in Tamale. Razak Salifu and Joseph Esso’s first-half strikes ended the Still Believe’s three-game winless run.

Samartex smashed Holy Stars 3-0 at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samraboi Baba Musah’s goal and a brace from Emmanuel Mamah condemned Holy Stars to an embarrassing defeat.

Heart of Lions recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium. Christian Boateng’s 40th-minute strike was enough for the Kpando-based club to secure all three points and close the gap to five points on top.

On Saturday, Accra Lions defeated Bechem United 2-0, easing relegation fears even though they still remain in the relegation zone. Awoute and Kesse were the scorers for Accra Lions.

Medeama in the late kick off thrashed Young Apostles 3-0 at the TNA Park in Tarkwa. Kamaradini Mamudu scored a brace and got on the scoresheet.
