Lamine Yamal made Inter Milan’s defence suffer after threatening them for the entire 90 minutes. He made Di Marco struggle until Augusto replaced him. Lamal scored Barcelona’s opening goal when they were down by two goals.
The world smiled after enjoying a 17-year-old forward dismantling Italian defence spearheaded by a 37-year-old Acerbi.
Ahead of the return leg, Inter Milan manager Simeone Inzaghi has confirmed that his side will double-mark Lamine Yamal.
“We have to try not to let him get the ball, but it’s impossible. Obviously, he’ll be double-marked, a player who will be closely watched, and we’ll try to pay attention to him. In person, he’s a tremendous talent; he’s truly dangerous, and everyone gives him the ball. I was impressed by his quick thinking; he always knows what play to make,” Inzaghi said.

The Italians will welcome Barcelona on Tuesday night for the second leg of the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, with intense action expected.
