Popular Ghanaian lawyer and journalist: Editor-in-Chief of The Statesman newspaper, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has advised Ghana’s bona fide midfielder, Thomas Partey, to move to where he will be paid much dough for his pension years.
Partey recently turned 32, which means he is nearing the end of his top-flight football. The Ghanaian had his best season in Arsenal’s colours in the just-ended season since joining from Spanish side Atletico Madrid 5 years ago. The Ghanaian and the London-based club Arsenal are yet to reach an agreement for a new deal, and he could be convinced by any club, with clubs from Saudi Arabia lurking.
London-born Arsenal supporter Gabby Asare Otchere-Dark,o in an interview on Assase Radio, urged Partey to consider leaving Arsenal.
“I’m an Arsenal fan, but I advise Thomas Partey to move elsewhere and make some good money for his pension years,” Gabby said.
Thomas Partey is on over 200k pounds per week, but Gabby thinks it is not enough to sustain him when he retires.
