Rodrygo Goes has played just 90 minutes in Real Madrid’s four games so far in the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup in the USA. The Brazilian was a key part of Carlo Ancelotti’s recent squad, where he cemented his position on the right side of Real Madrid’s attack, but has to face reality because the new Manager, Xabi Alonso, does not rate him higher.
After Real Madrid’s 1-0 win in the round 16 over Juventus in the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup, Rodrygo was not happy for spending the whole 90 minutes on the bench. Reports say his manager approached Real Madrid and asked about their client’s future, but the club assured them of his being part.
Fast forward to Thursday, Xabi Alonso and his coaching staff agreed with club president FiorentinomPerez to make the Brazilian forward available in the market for transfer.
The English Premier League side Arsenal has been an admirer of the young Brazilian, with many speculations linking him to London. Real Madrid will demand around 80M euros for their star forward.
Rodrygo would want to move to get regular playing time in order to be part of Brazil’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
