His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, in his major messages of the 2024 General Elections campaign, assured Ghanaians of cutting costs from all angles in the country.

Many thought his promise was a mere political talk as Ghanaian politicians are known for.

When he returned as the president of the nation, his cost-cutting promise got underway ummediately and one that many Ghanaians expressed delight in was the abolition of the Satellite TV Subscriptions, which were milking the nation unnecessarily.

Government Communications Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has revealed that John Mahama’s decision to ban Satellite TV Subscriptions at the Jubilee House is saving the Presidency GH₵120,000 Monthly.

The amount he is mentioning is extremely astonishing as the money could have been used all these years for something different.
