Nyinahin: 32-year-old man in critical condition after being attacked by his girlfriend with knife

A 32-year-old man is in a critical condition after his girlfriend allegedly attacked him with a sharp knife at Nyinahin in the Ashanti Region.

According to reports, there was a little misunderstanding between the victim, Atsu Maxwell and the suspect, who has been identified by the police as Yaa Esther, aged 20.

What initially seemed like a verbal tussle between the two lovebirds suddenly turned bloody as Esther, who was holding a sharp knife, surprisingly “butchered” Maxwell in the head, chest and on the left shoulder.

He became unconscious and was rushed to the Nyinahin community hospital.
According to the Nyinahin District Police, suspect Yaa Esther has been apprehended, and the exhibit knife has also been retrieved to support police investigations.
