Asokore Mampong: Lady stones landlady to death in violent confrontation

A young woman is reported to have killed her landlady by stoning her in Asokore Mampong.

What began as spoken exchanges developed into a physical altercation.

The suspect, Osam Afriyie, who is said to be a difficult tenant, got into an altercation with his landlady.

After the altercation was broken up, Afriyie later attacked Monica Akua Fokua by throwing a pavement block at her, striking her in the ear.

Monica reportedly collapsed and lost consciousness. She was taken to the hospital but was declared deceased there.

Afriyie has confronted nearly everyone in the house, despite having support from the tenants and the deceased.

She is accused of having threatened the deceased’s brother with death if he attempted to remove her. The Asokore Mampong Police have arrested her.
