A 17-year-old boy named Paa Kwesi was fatally stabbed by his older brother during a disagreement about a broken padlock in Mampong, which is close to Kansaworado in the Sekondi-Takoradi area of the Western Region.

The incident began when 20-year-old Yaw locked Kwesi’s phone in his room. After searching for hours for his brother to get his phone back, Kwesi decided to break the padlock to enter the room.

When Yaw came back and saw that his younger brother had entered his room, he got angry, leading to a fight. In the heat of the moment, he grabbed a knife, killed Kwesi, and then ran away.

The people of Mampong are now in shock over what happened. Meanwhile, the police have started a search to find Yaw.
