French side FC Metz has reached an agreement with Swedish Allsvenskan club IF Elfsborg for a deal for Black Stars defender Yagbe.

The deal is worth €4M, with the Ghanaian having penned a five-year deal for the French side.

The former WAFA and Vision FC centre back moved to Europe in 2022, where he joined Finnish side SJK on an initial loan before earning a permanent deal.

The Akatsi-born player, who joined Elfsborg in December 2023, has played more than 40 games for the Club.

The Swedish club is getting a huge profit from the deal. They bought Terry for just 700k euros, and after a year and a half, Elfsborg are receiving 4 million euros.

Yagbe made his international debut in November 2024 when he played 79 minutes in the calamitous 2-1 defeat against Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium.
