The late former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings will have a state funeral on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Accra’s Independence Square, according to arrangements published by the Ghanaian government under President John Mahama.

The Presidency said in a statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister for Government Communications and Presidential Spokesperson, that the state funeral is in honor of Mrs. Agyeman-Rawlings’ priceless contributions to the advancement of women’s and children’s rights in Ghana as well as to national development.

Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

She was 76 years old.
