South African rapper Nasty C has revealed his top three Ghanaian rappers, with Black Sherif leading the pack, followed by Kwesi Arthur and Vic Mensa.
In an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes with Roselyn Felli, Nasty C explained that Black Sherif’s music resonates with him, citing the rapper’s unique style and emotional depth.
Kwesi Arthur, known for his consistency and powerful delivery, secured the second spot, while Vic Mensa, the US-based Ghanaian rapper, rounded out the top three.
Nasty C also mentioned Shatta Wale as a close fourth.
Interestingly, Nasty C’s list excludes Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie, who he placed in his top five but not top three.
Nasty C clarified that Sarkodie was excluded due to his current musical preferences, emphasizing that Sarkodie remains a legend in Ghanaian music.
The South African rapper also addressed his past feud with Sarkodie, stating that the issue stemmed from a misunderstanding.
Nasty C expressed his willingness to reconcile, saying, “A lot of things got lost in translation. I don’t know if he misunderstood it or someone was in his ear and toning the wrong message, but his response to the song that I put out was a little spicy”
