Antoine Semenyo has hit the ground running since signing for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City from Bournemouth in a deal worth 63 million pounds. The Ghanaian forward had shown much promise at the Cheries, convincing the Citizens to sign him.

Manchester City took the lead through Cherki’s strikes in the 11th minute. It was a well-deserved lead as they had dominated the game from the onset, forcing Tottenham to make errors.

The visistors fine form continued with Silva setting up Semenyo to double their lead on the stroke of half-time. It was a huge test for Thomas Frank’s side, who have failed to perform domestically but are doing so well in Europe.

Tottenham struck twice in the second half through the red-hot Dominik Solanke. The game finished 2-2, with Tottenham the happiest of the two teams.

Manchester City are now seven points behind leaders Arsenal, who thrashed Leeds United 4-0 on Saturday.

It was Antoine Semenyo’s 12th goal and third assist in the league.

Pep Guardiola’s side is very inconsistent, and it will definitely cost them the title.
