Even the doubting Thomas will agree to the fact that Paris Saint Germain’s Spanish tactician is the best coach in the world currently.

The former Barcelona and Spain coach has taken PSG to a second successive final in the UEFA Champions League, making him an undisputed king in terms of football coaching currently. His side unbelievably smashed Italian champions Inter Milan 5-0 in the final of the 2024-25 UCL.

PSG secured an impressive 1-1 draw in the second leg at the Allianz Arena in Munich against Bayern on Wednesday night after securing a 5-4 victory in the first leg to progress.

After the game, PSG’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, described the 55-year-old Spanish flamboyant manager, Enrique, as the best in the world.

“Luis Enrique has sparked a revolution in football, not just for Paris but for football as a whole. He is the best coach in the world”, Khalifi excitedly said.

PSG is becoming unplayable due to the unique style of football. The trio of Kvaraskhelia, Dembele and Doue have given opponents nightmares due to their versatility and ability to play across all the front three positions. This approach is rare in football as it always gives them the advantage over every opponent.

PSG’s midfield trio of Vitinha, Neves and Ruiz personifies balance. The trio have everything from scoring to breaking opponents’ play to controlling the tempo of the game.

Defensively, they have the experienced Marquinhos and the Ecudorian super star, Pacho, controlling things in the middle. Morocco’s Achraf and Portugal’s Mendes combine attacking and defending unbelievably, adding a lot to the team. Russia’s Safanov has made them forget Donnarumma in the post after disposing of French goalkeeper Chavalier.

The French champions will meet Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal on May 30th at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary, in the final.

Arsenal defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 on Tuesday night, thanks to Bukayo Saka’s first-half strike, to qualify for the finals for the first time in 20 years.
