The ‘Mass Exodous’ of players in the Ghana Premier League continues with no sign of stopping. The latest Ghanaian footballer to depart the league is Asante Kotoko and Black Stars’ Richmond Lamptey.
The former Porcupine Warriors skipper, Lamptey, 27, has expressed his delight in joining Rwandan champions APR FC via his X wall.
“I am thrilled and honored to join APR FC, a club with a rich history and a winning tradition. I am eager to contribute to the team’s success and bring my best to every game.
“I look forward to working with my new teammates and coaches, and to the incredible support from the fans.
“Let’s achieve great things together,” Lamptey wrote.
Richmond Lamptey is expected to lead APR FC to the Money Zone of the CAF Champions League for the first time in their history of the club.
