Asante Kotoko has finally agreed to pay the 200,000 cedis Tano Bofoakwa are charging for their star striker Saaka Dauda.
The 24-year-old and his entourage, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Bofoakwa Tano have all reached an agreement for the transfer of the forward.
Saaka was the main man for Tano Bofoakwa in the 2023-24 season where he scored 7 goals in the Ghana Premeir League even though Bofo suffered relegation. He played a very crucial role in the club’s wonderful trip to the MTN FA Cup finals.
The striker will sign a three year deal with the Porcupine Warriors when he passes his medical.
Asante Kotoko are already in a jubilant mood after beaten perennial rivals Accra Hearts of Oak 2-1 in the maiden edition of the Democracy Cup on Wednesday night at the Accra Sports Stadium and Saaka’s signing will complete their wonderful week.
