Leicester City are planning to sign Ghana forward Jordan Ayew to strengthen their attack ahead of the upcoming 2024-25 season, per multiple reports.

Jordan Ayew was not playing regularly when Oliver Glasner replaced Roy Hodgson as the new manager during the last 2 months of the 2023-24 season.

Mateta, Oliseh and Eze were Glasner’s favorite trio in Crystal Palace’s attack. The trio proved superb and it led Ayew remaining on the bench.

News emanating from Leicester City says that the club is interested in signing the veteran Ghanaian attacker. The newly promoted side’s manager Steve Cooper has targeted Ayew for the Foxes.

Ayew has been an integral member of Crystal Palace since joining the club in 2018. The Ghana international joined on loan initially but his move was made permanent in just a year later.

Last season, he scored four goals and provided eight assists in 37 appearances for Palace.

Since joining the club, the Ghanaian attacker has amassed a total of 23 goals and 22 assists in 211 appearances.
