It was all over the news that Brandon Thomas-Asante, 25, was joining Hull City last week but the young striker has had a change of mind and is on the verge of signing for Coventry City.
Born in Milton Keynes in England to Ghanaian father and Jamaican mother, the Ghanaian striker was the main striker for West Brom after making 41 appearances and scoring 11 goals in the English Championship last season.
The striker recently got a call up to the Ghana Black Stars and made his debut in Ghana’s 4-3 win over Central African Republic in Matchday 4 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
With a market value of €2.7 million, Asante-Thomas is not expected to cost a huge some of money but he is expected to help Coventry City improve upon their 9th placed finish in the 2023-24 Championship season.
Asante-Thomas will sign for his 7th club after playing for MK Dons, Suton, Oxford, Ebbsfleet, Salford and West Brom.
