Julian Alvarez is only 24 years old but has completed football after winning FIFA World Cup and COPA America for Argentina. For Manchester City, the talented youngster has won EPL, UCL, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

Before joining Manchester City in 2022, the forward had won Argentina Primera Division and Copa Copa Libertadores for River Plate.

The striker made it clear that he cannot play a second fiddle to Erling Haaland anymore hence needed a move to continue his career. Chelsea and Atletico Madrid showed interest but Atletico are now 95% likely to sign him.

The Madrid-based club has reached an agreement with Manchester City for the versatile Argentine.

Manchester City paid £14m on January 31 2022 to River Plate for Alvarez’s signature and they are selling him for £82m in a space of two and half years.
