Kumchacha has accused Asamoah Gyan of deliberately missing the crucial penalty against Uruguay in 2010 World Cup beacuse NDC was in power.

Kumchacha made this statement on UTV’s “United Showbiz” on Saturday, September 14, 2024 to the surprise of many.

Prophet Kumchacha who is known for passing controversial comments said, “Everyone knows Gyan supports the NPP. That’s why he missed the penalty in 2010.

“The NDC was in power, and he didn’t want them to get the glory,” Kumchacha continued.

Asamoah Gyan is known to be a big fan of the ruling NPP and shockingly redrew his support last week announcing that he won’t be affiliated to any political party again but rather wants to focus on helping the youth fulfill their dreams.

Asamoah Gyan’s missed penalty in the injury time of the 2010 World Cup against Uruguay in South Africa will never ever be forgotten.

Ghana was on the verge of becoming the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup but the dream died as Gyan missed from 12 yards.
