On Sunday in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup playoff, Dynamos from Zimbabwe won 1-0 against Orapa United of Botswana. Kadonzvo’s 88th minute finish made the difference for Dynamos.

Simba SC travelled to Libya to face Al Ahly Tripoli at the fully packed Tripoi International Stadium. The game ended goalless draw.

Al Hilal Benghazi edged Al Masry 3-2 in a thriller in Benghazi.

Togolese side ASC Kara won 2-1 against Asec Mimosas of Ivory Coast. Razak Cisse’s 94th minute strike put Asec in a very good position for the second leg after Akoro and Marone had given Kara a 2 goal lead.

Bravos do Maquis of Angola won narrowly 1-0 against St Eloi Lupopo through Macaiabo’s 96th minute strike.

CS Sfaxien defeated Rukinzo of Burundi 1-0 through Cristo’s 14th minute strike.
