Young Africans of Tanzania has 45 days to pay USD 24,400k to Ghanaian forward Augustine Okrah who moved from Bechem United to the club in the second half of last season.
The FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber has ruled in favor of the Ghanaian forward in the payment dispute.
Yanga wil suffer if they fail to pay Okrah. A ban preventing the club from registering any new players, either domestically or internationally, for up to three consecutive registration periods will be imposed on them If the payment remains unsettled, FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee could be involved for further action.
USD 3,000 warning fine ought to be settled by Yanga to FIFA within 30 days.
Augustine Okrah, former Asante Kotoko and Simba SC’s forward could not win Miguel Angel Gamondi’s trust in Yanga’s set up and has therefore returned to his beloved Bechem United for the 2024-25 GPL season.
