Black Stars camp update: Thomas Partey and three others withdraw as 4 replace them

Ghana will welcome Sudan to the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday for the crucial matchday 3 of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

It is a game that the Black Stars can never afford to lose as deafeat will almost end their chances of participating in the Morocco 25 AFCON.

The national team has confirmed that four players have already withdrawn from the squad due to injuries. Their replacements too have been confirmed and have all joined Otto Addo’s training camp.

Joseph Paintsil’s injury; hamstring

Replacement: Francis Abu

Kingsley Schindler’s injury; unconfirmed

Replacement: Jonas Adjetey

Ibrahim Osman’s injury, calf muscle

Replacement: Ibrahim Sadick

Ghana v Sudan is scheduled to take place at 4 pm in Accra on Thursday.
