It was fireworks At the Wenchi Park, as expected on Sunday afternoon in Week 6 of th Ghana Premier League.

Asare Bediako’s newly promoted side was in full confidence facing Hearts of Oak. Young Apostles’ last home game ended in extremely excitement for the supporters after coming from behind to beat Aduana Stars 3-2.

The last time they lost a league game was 2 years ago when Dauda Saaka’s goal gave Bofoakwa Tano a 1-0 win in Wenchi in Zone 2 of Division 1.

Hamza Issah scored his second goal of the season to restore Hearts of Oak’s lead. The 2-1 win was Phobia’s first away win of the seaon.

Accra Hearts of Oak has moved to 8th on the league log having won 8 points from 6 games. Phobia has scored 4 goals and conceded 4. Aboubakar Ouattara’s side will travel to Dreams in Week 7 on Friday.

Young Apostles after the defeat sits in the relegation zone with just 5 points from 6 matches.

The Wenchi-based club will travel to Accra Lions in Week 7.
