Malta Guinness Ghana, headline sponsor of the Women’s Premier League, has announced special cash rewards for standout performers in the upcoming 2024/2025 season.
The new initiative will honor the best player from both the Southern and Northern Zones, as well as the best coach.
During the season launch on October 15, 2024, at the FA Headquarters, Ms. Dinah Adu Asare, Marketing Manager of Malta Guinness Ghana, revealed the new awards.
She emphasized the importance of recognizing the dedication and effort that players and coaches contribute to the league’s development.
“As we continue to support excellence, we are introducing special cash awards this season. Both the best player in the Northern and Southern Zones, as well as the best coach, will receive GHS10,000 each.
We are proud of the progress we’ve seen over the last two years, witnessing the talent, passion, and dedication of these athletes,” Ms. Asare stated.
The cash prizes are intended to motivate and reward the individuals who have significantly contributed to the league’s growth, with GHS10,000 going to the Best Coach of the season and another GHS10,000 each for the Best Players in both zones.
