West Ham United attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus has issued an apology to Ghanaians following the Black Stars’ disappointing performances in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Ghana’s campaign has been a disaster so far, with the team failing to secure a win after four matches, leaving their qualification hopes in jeopardy.

Kudus, who captained the Black Stars during their recent double-header against Sudan, expressed regret over the team’s struggles and vowed to bounce back in their upcoming games.

In his message to fans, Kudus acknowledged the frustrations of Ghanaians and assured them that the team will fight to return to winning ways.

Ghana, under the management of Coach Otto Addo, has only earned two points from four games, and their latest defeat to Sudan has significantly dented their chances of qualifying for the tournament.

The Black Stars now need to secure victories in their final two Group F matches against Niger and Angola in November to keep their AFCON hopes alive.

Angola has already qualified for the 2025 tournament, which will be held in Morocco.
