Black Stars: Jordan Ayew expects to captain Ghana agaianst Niger and Angola

Per rumours in the Ghanaian media, Otto Addo is set to make Jordan Ayew the skipper in Ghana's next two games in the November international break.

Per rumours in the Ghanaian media, Otto Addo is set to make Jordan Ayew the skipper in Ghana’s next two games in the November international break.

Mohammed Kudus skippered the Black Stars in the disastrous October’s international break where Ghana drew goalless at the Accra Sports Stadium and lost 2-0 in Libya in the teturn leg against Kwesi Appiah’s Sudan.

Jordan Ayew was captured by the cameras in thw tunnel complaining bitterly to Kwesi Appiah with many suggesting he was not happy with Otto Addo’s decision to make Kudus the captain.

Otto Addo travelled to London and held talks with Jordan Ayew over the captaincy issue and also had a conversation about the rumuors that Jordan wants to skipp the November’s qualifiers.

All the differences has neen rectified with Jordan expected to captain the side for the final two games.

The Black Stars will meet Niger in Accra and Angola in Luanda for the 5th and 6th games of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
