Ghana will play against Angola and Niger in Round 5 and 6 of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers in the middle of November.

Otto Addo on Thursday afternon named his preferred 25-man squad with Thomas Partey, Andre Ayew, Frederick Asare and Mohammed Salisu all missing the squad.

Thomas Partey has played for Arsenal ever since missing the October games for Ghana but Otto Addo decided to not call him.

Andre Ayew has been absent for more than 4 months for Black Stars and has still not returned to the team. Frederick Asare of Asante Kotoko did not receive a call-up after a dip in form. AS Monaco defender Mo Salisu is injured and hence misses the squad.

English Premier League contingents of Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Jordan Ayew are part of the team.

Ati-Zigi, Jojo Wollacott and Abdul Manaf are thw three goalkeepers selected by Otto Addo.

New faces that were included are Asante Kotoko’s Emmanuel Antwi, Nathaniel Adjei of Lorient and Razak Simpson of Nations FC.
