Alhaji Mahama Salia Efiewura, the P.R.O of newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Young Apostles, has asked why the promise of buses made by Ghana’s Football Association president has not been honoured.
“I went to Google to read about his promise for the clubs. The story was posted on August 28 2024 and we are in November but we have not seen the bus”, Alhaji Salia said.
“We have not gotten our bus yet. Somewhere in August, i saw Kurt’s post on Facebook about the arrival of the buses. What has happened?
“I’m appealing to the GFA to double their effort. I’m begging
the government to assist the FA to deliver the promise.
“Since we haven’t gotten the bus, we take it that it has not arrived in the country.
Alhaji Salia doesn’t believe the buses are in town. However, he suggested the sports minister and Ghana’s Parliament should intervene.
“If it’s at the port as Kurt said, they should speak to Mustapha Yussif for him to assist the FA because he is the main boss of sports in Ghana.
Young Apostles defeated Techiman Heroes 4-3 on penalties after 1-1 draw in 120 minutes of intense action in the Division One League play off and won the Zone 1 which subsequently qualified them to the GPL for the first time in their history.
