It is only 13 matches that have been played in the English Premier League but it seems it is 30 so far.

Liverpool is currently occupying the first slot, having amassed an unbelievable 34 points from a possible 39. Arsenal are second on the log with 25 points after a huge dip in form in late October and early November.

The Gunners are 9 points behind Liverpool. The points gap is huge between Liverpool and Arsenal, but Kai Havertz thinks it is not many because there are so many games before the end of the season.

“We were in this race (for the league title) last season; we know how difficult it is to be here, and we are still in the first half of the season; a lot of things can happen.

“We praise Liverpool’s performance but there are a lot of games and points (remaining)”, German forward Kai Havertz said.

Liverpool deserves massive praise because they have shocked everyone with their performances under Arne Slot thus far.

Arsenal, over the weekend, showed that they are back to their best after they smashed West Ham 5-2. Liverpool on the other hand, beat Manchester City 2-0 to extend their lead on top of the table.

The season is indeed very long, and there are still 25 rounds of matches to decide who lifts the title. Kai Havertz knows it all when it comes to what one needs to win the EPL, as in the last two seasons, the Gunners have tried but have fallen short at the end of the season.

Liverpool will travel to Newcastle United while Arsenal will host Manchester United in round 14.
