Ghanaian and Westham United star forward, Mohammed Kudus, 24, is set to return to action in midweek for the Hammers in their crucial encounter against Leicester City in the round 14 of the English Premier League.

West Ham United travelled to Tottenham Hotspur in mid-October at the Tottenham Stadium.

The Hammers took the lead through Mo Kudus but lost 4-1 eventually. During the later part of the game, Kudus lost his cool and slapped and shoved Spurs defender Mikky van der Ven forcing VAR to send him out. He was initially to miss two games but three more were added for improper conduct.

Mohammed Kudus has missed West Ham’s games against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest Everton, Newcastle United and Arsenal.

Julen Lopetegui’s side have struggled throughout the season and will need a huge lift from somewhere. Is Mo Kudus the man to do the job for the Hammers?

West Ham was smashed into pieces by Arsenal on Saturday night at the London Community Stadium when they lost 5-2 in a mesmerizing manner.

The results have put the London club under huge pressure as manager Lopetegui has failed to turn things around.

Their opponent, Leicester City, has been one of the poor teams recently and also needs a lift from their new manager, Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

The former Manchester United’s interim manager replaced Steve Cooper, who was sacked last week after losing 2-1 to Chelsea at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes were beaten so easily by Brantford on Saturday so they will need to up their game against fellow strugglers West Ham United.

Mohammed Kudus’ return will serve as a huge boost because he is one of West Ham’s important players, as he proved last season, albeit he has not reached the form the fans expect him to.

West Ham United travels to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester at 8:15 pm on Tuesday.
