Niger opened wide Group F of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers with an unbelievable 4-0 disintegration of much-fancied Sudan.

A draw for Kwesi Appiah’s Sudan on Thursday night in Lome would have ended Ghana’s slim chances of the 2025 AFCON qualification.

Niger dismantling Sudan breathed life into Ghana, and the Black Stars must, at all costs, beat the already qualified Angola in Luanda.

The Palancas Negras have already qualified for the 2025 AFCON finals heading into the final home game against the Black Stars of Ghana after winning all 4 games played thus far, making them a well-confident side.

Angola just wants to keep momentum and end the year on a very higher note. The Southern Africans ended Ghana’s 24-year-old home unbeaten run with Milson scoring late in the game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The victory was an exciting one as they built on it and now have qualified comfortably even with two games to spare.

Ghana, on the other hand, has a whole lot to do before they can secure a slot in Morocco 2025. The Black Stars must win their last two games and hope results in the other games will go their way.

Eight players decided to withdraw from the Black Stars squad and 6 replaced them. The game is a very crucial one as it can bring confusion into Ghana football if the Black Stars fail to win.

Ghanaian football has been in huge trouble in the last five years, and failing to travel to Morocco will send a huge message across the continent that the Black Stars’ troubles must be addressed.

Angola will host Ghana at the Estadio de Novembro in Luanda at 7 pm on Friday.
