Antoine Semenyo will play at Wembley Stadium when Manchester City squares off against Arsenal in the finals of the Carabao Cup in March.

The Ghanaian forward helped the Citizens to reach the finals after smashing Newcastle United into pieces at the Etihad Stadium.

Newcastle United lost 3-1 to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Wednesday night to record an impressive 5-1 aggregate win over the lacklustre Magpies.

Semenyo, after the game, in an interview with telecomasia.net, revealed how he is determined to help Manchester City win trophies in the current campaign.

“I’m still learning and adapting to the ways of the team and my teammates,” Semenyo said. The Ghanaian is playing like he has been at Manchester City for more than three years.

He continued, “But I’m happy with everything that is happening so far.”

“I’m someone who demands a lot from myself, so I know that I will get better,” he said. “My main aim is that I will be able to help the team achieve the targets for the season.”

Antoine Semenyo has hit the ground running since joining Manchester City in a deal worth from Bournemouth in the January transfer window.
