Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has agreed to extend his stay with the Gunners until 2027.
Fans were worried as the former Everton and Arsenal midfielder’s deal was to expire in 2025 and nothing showed he was agreeing a new deal anytime soon.
Arteta has finished second with Arsenal in the EPL in each of the last two seasons winning the club’s hierarchy and fans’ heart.
The former Pep Guersiola’s assistant manager at Manchester City joined the Gunners in 2019 and has changed everything about the club making them one of the most fearful teams in England.
Arteta and his side are expected to challenge Manchester City and Liverpool for the 2024-25 EPL title.
The 42-year-old Spanish manager is the man many expect to end Manchester City’s dominance in the English game.
