It’s the longest trip that all the other 17 Ghana Premeir League clubs will face in the just commenced season.

It takes nearly 9 and half hours to travel from Kumasi to Nalerigu by road. 561.8 km is the distance!

The Porcupine Warriors will face their familiar foes, Karela United, at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex at Nalerigu, in the North East Region on Sunday at 3: pm.

It’s a revenge mission for Fabulous
as they are yet to record a victory over Karela in their last 7 meetings. The Nalerigu-based club defeated Kotoko twice at home including 2-0 win in the MTN FA Cup in the Round 16th stage last season.

In the second round in the Ghana Premier League, Karela defeated Kotoko 1-0 in Round 20. They secured a 1-1 draw in Kumasi in Week 3 of the first Round.

Things are extremely difficult for the Porcupine Warriors recently against Karela as they are now their bogey side.

It’s a huge test for Prosper Ogum and his charges as they have a difficult task against Jimmy Cobblah’s side.
