Asante Kotoko has officially confirmed a deal with Spanish giants Celta Vigo.
The club’s official statement reads “Asante Kotoko SC is pleased to announce the loan transfer of our talented winger, Bernard Sarpong Somuah, to Spanish La Liga side, Celta Vigo, for the upcoming season.”
“The agreement includes an option for Celta Vigo to make the deal permanent at the end of the loan period.”
Sarpong Somuah, 18, will play an initial one year loan deal with Celta Vigo B. The club is expected to help Somuah continue his development before been integrated into the main team.
Asante Kotoko has not revealed the financial agreement in the deal but it is expected to benefit the club financially.
