Asante Kotoko has announced that they will resume training on Wednesday, 19th February 2025, after a long break from football.

The last 18 days have been all about mourning the late staunch supporter of the Porcupine Warriors, Yaw Frimpong Francis, popularly known as Pooley, who was criminally murdered by a yet-to-be-identified hooligan in Nsoatre.

Since Pooley’s demise, the top-flight football in Ghana has been suspended, with the two big clubs demanding sanity before the league resumes.

Asante Kotoko will start training on Wednesday at Adako Jachie in a bid to keep the squad physically and mentally sound even though they are not returning to competitive action any time soon.

Fans can troop to the Adako Jachie Training Complex and have a look at their beloved Kotoko train amidst their quest to seek justice for the late Pooley.
