Ghanaian speedster Osman Bukari has been announced by Austin FC as their new signing. Red Star Belgrade agreed to sell the Ghanaian to Austin FC in a deal worth €7 million.
Osman Bukari joins MLS side Austin FC on a three-and-a-half-year deal which is expected to expire in 2027 with an option for 2028. The deal is pending receipt of Bukari’s ITC and P-1 visa.
Bukari joins Austin FC after spending the last two (2) seasons with Red Star Belgrade in Serbia.
Osman scored 25 goals and registered 20 assists in 78 appearances in all competitions helping Red Star win two Serbian league titles and two Serbian Cups consecutively.
The former Trencin star expressed his delight in joining Austin FC and vowed to help the club achieve success.
“I am very motivated and excited to join Austin FC,” revealed Bukari.
“I want to do everything I can to help this team, this city, and this fanbase to achieve their goals,” added Osman.
The Ghana international is expected to join his new team after the international where his ITC and Visa will be ready by then.
