The Ghana Women’s U-20 team, the Black Princesses, has qualified for the 2024 FIFA World Cup set to be hosted by Colombia.

Ghana is placed in Group E alongside Austria, Japan and New Zealand.

The tournament kicks off on 31st August 2024.

The Sports Ministry has settled the Princesses their overdue bonuses in a bid to fully motivate them ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

Each player has now received $6,000 for their performance in the three qualifying rounds of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The Black Princesses won Gold in the 13th All African Games hosted in Accra.

They are due to continue the stellar performances they put in the All African Games.
