Former Black Stars skipper Stephen Appiah has revealed that Ghana’s players are ready to face Chad and Mali in the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches.

Ghana’s preparations are underway, with everyone around the team fully charged to repeat the performances they put up in rounds five and six earlier this year.

“Talking to them, they are ready to play the two games, and we all know that we have two crucial games that will determine our chances for the World Cup. We believe that the guys will make it”, Vice Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, Stephen Appiah said.

The former Black Stars captain is optimistic that Ghana will beat Chad and Mali in rounds seven and eight of the qualifiers.

The Black Star will face the struggling Chad on Thursday in Chad and host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday evening.
