Ghana will face Angola in matcday 1 of the 2025 AFCON qualifiers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium Kumasi.

The Black Stars are well prepared for action on Thursday and Angola head coach, Pedro Goncalves has waxed lyrical about Otto Addo’s talented team.

“Black Stars have players from top level in the world, but the big names are in the midfield and forward. Mohammed Kudus is one of the best players at the moment for Africa. [There are also] Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey the legend, Inaki Williams.

“I mentioned four players but I can say more. It’s a balanced team at the high level but for sure the big names are in the attack,” Goncalves added.

It’s no secret that Ghana’s strength is in the midfield and attack. Ghana’s attack can give any defence a tough time on any day as Kudus, Inaki, Ayew, Semenyo, Fatawu among many others are extremely dangerous attackers.

Ghana will host Angola at 4 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday.
