FIFA released its latest rankings on Thursday morning with Ghana ranking 64.

After back-back wins over Mali and the Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Ghana has moved four places from 68 to 64 showing how the team has improved.

Ghana has been disastrous for the past year and has been retrogressing in the Coca-Cola FIFA World Rankings in the last 12 months.

Otto Addo’s return has shown many promises for the team with two wins recorded helping the team move four places higher in the rankings.

Ghana’s rivals Nigeria has dropped to 38th after failing to beat Bafana Bafana and Benin in matchday 3 and 4 of the World Cup qualifiers.

Morocco (13) is still on top of the African rankings after winning two games in May. Second place Senegal moved two places backwards to 19th after drawing and winning in their two games in May.

World Champions Argentina maintained its slot as the number one ranked team in the world.

France, England, Brazil and Belgium complete the top 5 in the world.
