Donald Trump has been criticized by Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva for trying to rule the world while he is only the president of the USA.

“US President Donald Trump was elected to govern the United States, not to “rule the world,” Lula da Silva said. Donald Trump’s second coming feels like he is trying to rule the entire world with his American power.

“I respect the election of President Trump, who was elected by the American people to govern the United States,” but “he was not elected to rule the world.”

“Trump has to maintain “democratic and civilized” relations with the rest of the world,” Inacio Lula da Silva continued.

The US president has so far been deporting undocumented migrants, ending child birthright citizenship and terminating every open-borders policy during Joe Biden’s administration, which the world feels he is destroying the relationship that has existed between America and so many nations for decades.

Inacio Lula da Silva also condemned the United States of America for portraying itself as a “symbol of democracy” and “sheriff of the world,” describing Trump’s comments on occupied regions as “provocations.”
