The Adenta District Court has remanded Ebo Noah, the man accused of causing public alarm with a doomsday prophecy of a global flood, and ordered him to undergo a psychological evaluation.
The court’s ruling came at his first court appearance after being arrested for false communication and instilling fear and panic.
The culprit, born Evans Eshun, was arrested by the Ghana Police Service’s Special Cyber Vetting Team on December 31, 2025.
His case has drawn significant public attention after he publicly declared that God had warned him of a world-ending flood scheduled for December 25, 2025.
The self-proclaimed prophet had constructed what he described as an “ark” at his premises, which he claimed would save humanity from the impending disaster.
When the predicted cataclysm failed to materialize, Noah reportedly revised his prophecy, suggesting his prayers had successfully postponed the destruction.
