The Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Samuel Dubik Mahama, has resigned
He is said to have announced his resignation in a letter to the ECG Board Chairman, Alexander Afenyo-Markin.
The reason for the move is however not immediately known.
President Akufo-Addo appointed Mr Mahama on May 16, 2022, to succeed Kwame Agyeman–Budu.
Prior to his appointment, he served as a non-executive director at ECG and has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors
He was also non-executive director at GIHOC Distilleries, Country representative for Gulfsouth Forest Products, and Partner at Dubik & Associates, Wilkins Engineering, among others.
He is a legal practitioner and a graduate of the University of Ghana.
