There is no stadium in Ghana that meets CAF and FIFA’s standard. It is one of the crisis the country is facing at the moment.
Former GFA president, DR Nyaho Tamakloe has revealed that CAF was very happy during his days as the president of Ghana Football Association.
“When i was the FA boss, CAF always found our stadiums in top conditions during inspection.
“People have been complaining about the Accra Sports Stadium because no one can even use the toilets there. Even the lights in the VVIP section don’t work.” – Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe added.
Nyaho Tamakloe was the 23rd president of the Ghana Football Association after succeeding Ben Kuofie in 2004 and lasted in office until 2005 before Kwesi Nyantakyi took over.
The 82-year-old’s words suggest he is disappointed with the current administration of Ghana Football.
It’s embarrassing to see Ghana in such moments.
