The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is providing a $10,000 reward for information that results in the capture of Olumide Adebiyi Adediran, a Nigerian national who has been evading authorities for almost 24 years.

Adediran left the United States in 2001 before his trial, where he was facing charges related to bank fraud, identity theft, and credit card fraud.

The renewed search is underway as U.S. authorities intensify their efforts to target cybercrime networks linked to Nigeria.

The FBI recently focused on Ajibola Oduntan, a Nigerian fraudster based in the UK, who is accused of running ticket scams worth millions of naira.

In June 2023, they also arranged for the extradition of four other Nigerians connected to wire fraud and identity theft.
