Barcelona parted ways with club legend Xavi Hernandez soon after the La Liga season ended and has wasted no time to replace him.

Former German head coach Hansi Flick who has been jobless after the disastrous 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar where Germany was eliminated in the group stage has signed a two-year deal with the Spanish giants.

Hansi Flick has a rich CV after winning the treble with Bayern Munich in 2019-2020. He also served as an assistant to Joaquim Lowe during the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups for Geany.

The 59-year-old expressed his delight after putting pen on paper for a two-year deal for FC Barcelona.
