A fraudster has come forward to confess after receiving ‘spiritual’ beatings for defrauding a businesswoman of GH¢ 15,000.
According to him, a young boy comes to whip him every night when he sleeps, and it has left marks on his back.
Explaining how he defrauded the victim, he said he monitored the businesswoman who was supposed to send money to one of her business partners.
He said that after he became aware that the woman had loaded money into her wallet account, he quickly placed a call to her and pretended he was the one she had to transfer the money to.
The fraudster confessed that he successfully deceived her into transferring the money to him and blocked her number to prevent her from reaching him.
According to him, since the day he defrauded the woman, a young boy comes to whip him spiritually every night and asks him to return the money to his mother.
He said the beatings have persisted for a long time, and this has made him unable to sleep.
His confession comes after the victim has refused to answer his numerous calls.
