Former Dome-Kwabenya MP and Head of the Safo family, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has dismissed online reports claiming that her father, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, has died.

In a statement on August 12, 2025, she described the publications as false, malicious, and insensitive, stressing that her father is alive and in good health.

She warned media outlets spreading the rumours to retract and apologise or face legal action.

“My father is alive, in good health, and going about his normal duties. These death hoaxes are reckless and disrespectful,” she said.

Adwoa Safo added that Apostle Safo will celebrate his birthday on August 30, with the family and Kristo Asafo Church planning a grand event.

She urged the public to ignore the false news and rely on credible sources for updates on her father’s wellbeing.
