Three Ghanaians, Francis Amuzu, 44, William Adison, 36, and Vincent Adzikah, 34, have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service for allegedly lynching a 26-year-old Liberian citizen named Austin Tengeeh, which resulted in his death near Lashibi in the Greater Accra Region.

The suspects reportedly assaulted the deceased, believing he was a thief.

According to the Ghana Police Service report, the deceased had visited his brother with his girlfriend and was attacked unfortunately and assaulted by some residents and members of the public. The caretaker of the apartment raised an alarm that the deceased was a thief.

Calls were made to the police, who rushed to the scene and rescued the deceased. The police took him to the Sakumo Community Hospital for medical but he was later pronounced dead.
